SUPPORT YOUR CLUB.
Keep the practice room clean and tidy - no litter, take away everything you came with.Be prepared to help with the erection and clearing away of tables and other equipment.
Pay the appropriate fees promptly, when they are due and with good humour.
If you have a problem tell a member of the Committee - don't moan to other players.
Take every opportunity to publicise the Club in a positive way and recruit new members. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising.
RESPECT YOUR FELLOW MEMBERS AND PLAYERS.
Be considerate at all times - no swearing, no throwing of bats. Keep noise to a minimum; avoid interruptions and acts of selfishness.Respect practice partners — for both their strengths and their weaknesses.
Respect the Coaches — be prepared to listen.
APPRECIATE THE VALUE OF GOOD PRACTICE.
Practice makes permanent — not perfect. Good practice makes good play. Bad practice makes bad play.
Respect each practise point as if it were a point in a match.
Be prepared to practice your weaknesses.
Be prepared to work on your mental toughness during practice.
Treat practice matches as a real match. Play with the same spirit.
Learn from your mistakes don't dwell on them.
Keep positive, even when things are not going well focus on your goal.
